Day 4’s pick of my favorite love songs is a classic. It’s “You Send Me” by Sam Cooke. Simple instrumentation but something about it is so pure. Love this one!

Day 3’s pick of one of my favorite love songs has a funky 70s throwback sound but was actually released in 2013! It’s “My Promise” by Earth, Wind & Fire. These guys are one of my favorite bands of all-time. Love the horns!! Great cocktail or dinner hour tune!

Valentine’s Day Tracks Day 2 – “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root
For my day 2 pick, I’m going with the 90s hit “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root. This song always goes over really well with almost any crowd. If you ever have a crowd from Pittsburgh (where the band is from), this is a must play. I don’t play it near enough.
Valentine’s Day Tracks Day 1 – “Free” / Into The Mystic” by The Zac Brown Band
In observation of Valentine’s Day, each day this week I’ll be posting one of the best love songs I like to play at wedding events. Today’s pick is a 2 song medley. Though country isn’t my favorite genre, I do love the Zac Brown Band. He pens some amazing lyrics and the musicality is so good! Once I heard this medley of “Free” and “Into The Mystic”, I knew it was a keeper. Side note: Van Morrison is one of my favorites as well. I like to work this into a dinner hour or a slow dance set. I’ve even played it in a few cocktail hour mixes. Hope you enjoy it!
